Our shop is our home away from home. We’ve put thought into everything in the place. The chairs are from Rusty’s personal collection — all authentic vintage recovered and restored personally by him. The tufted leather couch just says “stay awhile” and we’ve got all vinyl sound. If you want we even allow BYOV (vinyl).
Our Team
Rusty Buck - Owner
Though not a barber, he has had a long-standing passion for barbering as a craft. Shops have also always intrigued him as places to be connected, conversant and to leave feeling better and cleaner.
Emily Maddox
Prior to Monument, she’s had years working at a high-end Dallas based Men’s Barber shop. She’s a rad mom and has limited weekend availability so plan ahead.
Nicolas “Nic” Maddox
Nic is a perfectionist behind the chair. He’ll treat you right. He’s got a tat or two and loves riding his motorcycle any chance he gets.
Caleb Bland
Born and raised a Waco kid, he’s got an artistic vibe and a great personality. Though he could definitely fit in ATX he’s stayed in Waco because he believes in making this place great. He’s gonna do it one head at a time.
Jai
Jai (pronounced “Jay”) has been a barber since 2014 and always loved hair . Has career started with apprenticeship and Barber school in Denver . He opened up a shop in 2019 in Denver, but has just relocated to Waco and joined Monument Barber Co. His favorite hair styles to cut are skin fades and all types of traditional hair cuts and styles.
